CGNA Nursing Awards

Research Grants and Scholarships Program – 2020 Cycle

The Canadian Gerontological Nursing Association (CGNA) is proud to offer the following opportunities for our members to apply for research grant and scholarship supports.

Research grants are offered yearly by CGNA in support of small research projects. The purpose of these grants is to assist nurses to examine an area of gerontological nursing practice through research.

Scholarships are offered yearly by CGNA for studies commencing in September of the current year (i.e. September 2020).

Members of CGNA are considered eligible to apply for research grants or scholarships if they have sustained membership for a minimum of two consecutive years including the year of application.

The 2020 application period for grants and scholarship will open January 2, 2020 and will close Friday, February 14, 2020. Applications must be time stamped before 1159 hours. Applications must be complete at the time of submission in order to be eligible for review.
